“My husband and I selected Southern Picnics to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. We wanted something low-key yet elegant. Southern Picnics did not disappoint. The setup of our picnic (which was set up at Nash Square in downtown Raleigh) was absolutely breathtaking!! From the dishes to the flowers to the dessert board, our experience was “white glove” all the way. I’ve been telling all my friends about Southern Picnics and will definitely use them again in the future!!!”

“Wonderful experience! We had our picnic in the ideal spot with the best view of the Raleigh skyline - we didn't even know this spot existed! You get to take home multiple bouquets of flowers and the setup was so cute. I also really like that Southern Picnics teams up with other local small businesses (OnBoardChar) to create a memorable picnic! This would be a perfect date night or a fun afternoon with friends! “My wife and I had the BEST date night last night and it was all because of Southern Picnics!! I found out about Angela and her business through Instagram and decided to book a picnic. Unfortunately, our original day that we selected was rained out but Angela was on top of it, monitoring the weather, and was incredibly accommodating by working with me to select another day and time that would work with our schedules.
Since this was our first picnic, I wasn’t sure of the best places in the area to set up for a romantic experience but Angela knew of the perfect location in Fred Fletcher park. We couldn’t have been happier. It was beautiful and secluded tucked back amongst the flowers in the park. The setup was awesome to walk up to and enjoy. The charcuterie was a great selection of locally-sourced meats and cheeses from area and filled us up. I highly recommend Angela and Southern Picnics to anyone looking for a wonderful picnic experience. My wife and I are looking forward to future picnics of our own now that we’ve seen how to do it the right way!!”

“My brother, sister-in-law, and I surprised my mom with a picnic in the Rose Garden for her birthday. The team at Southern Picnics was incredibly thoughtful and responsive in helping us plan a special day with personal touches she would like (e.g. purple flowers).
Leading up to our day we were unsure about the weather and thought it might rain, so we asked last minute to move our picnic from Fred Fletcher Park to the Rose Garden to give ourselves an option to move under some shelter if the weather turned. The team at Southern Picnics took extra time to discuss logistics and backup options to make sure everything went off without a hitch.
We all had a great time, and I highly recommend Southern Picnics to anyone looking for a luxury picnic in Raleigh. 10/10!”
