Southern Picnics Named WRAL’s Event Planner of the Year for the Second Time in A Row

Southern Picnics was honored to be named WRAL’s Event Planner of the Year in their 2022 WRAL Voters Choice Awards on Thursday, January 12, 2023. This is our second time winning this prestigious award and we are so grateful for everyone who voted for us and for all of the support we’ve received from the Raleigh community.

Our goal is always to provide an exceptional experience and that starts with providing the highest quality customer service. We were honored and grateful to have this hard work recognized through the Event Planner of the Year award.

Angela is the owner of Southern Picnics and started the business in September 2020. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in Writing and Literature. She later attended Duke University where she received a certificate in Digital Media and Marketing.
