As the weather turns cooler and the leaves start to fall, porches all across the South become decorated in fall decor. There’s nothing more festive and timeless than freshly picked pumpkins lining the stairs and corners of a front porch in the South. If you’re wondering where you can find the best pumpkin patch in Raleigh NC, read on to see our favorites. NC State Farmers Market
We all know the North Carolina State Farmers market is a great spot to buy produce, but did you know you can find beautiful pumpkins there too? Starting in late September, the second half of the outdoor building will have rows and rows of pumpkins and gourds from local farms. The Farmers Market offers a variety of sizes and colors. Here you’ll find pumpkins in vast shades of orange, yellow, white, and even green! This is our personal favorite pumpkin patch in Raleigh and is where we go each year to find both our porch pumpkins and our picnic pumpkins for seasonal fall decor. We’ve found this Raleigh pumpkin patch offers the best price and selection!

Expert Tip: Visit first thing in the morning around 9:00 AM for the least amount of crowds. You’ll be able to more freely peruse the pumpkins and you’ll be able to find closer parking, which you’ll appreciate once you’re carrying all of your new pumpkins back to your car!

Page Farms in Raleigh is another pumpkin patch in Raleigh with a great selection of pumpkins. We recommend this farm if you’re looking to make an afternoon of your pumpkin picking. In addition to pumpkins, Page Farms also offers hayrides, a corn maze, farm animals, and lots of other kid-friendly activities. You will need to pay an admission price to partake in the farm’s activities, but your admission includes one pumpkin.
